Snitterfield Parish Council has identified a number of infrastructure areas in which it wishes to make improvements working with local authority partners and relevant agencies through an action plan.
- Flood alleviation
- Speed reduction, e.g. 20s Plenty, Dead Slow (a horse and rider safety campaign)
- Road safety initiatives
- Parking schemes
A working group has formed that meets on the first Monday of the month at Snitterfield Village Hall, following the Planning Committee meeting (if one is held).
Snitterfield has already seen recent major infrastructure works with a culvert bypass flood alleviation scheme in 2016, which cost in the region of £3million.
In 2023, a gas mains pipe replacement scheme will commence in May with phase 1 finishing at the end of October. More information will be added to this section of our website.
