Snitterfield’s Parish Clerk is notified by Stratford-on-Avon District Council by email of planning applications that are within or are adjacent to the parish. Snitterfield Parish Council has a three week window in which to respond. Councillors must disclose an interest in applications where applicable and withdraw from comment and discussion if necessary.
Snitterfield Parish Council has formed a Planning Committee which meets as necessary in Snitterfield Village Hall on the first Monday of the month at 7:30pm (unless otherwise stated).
Snitterfield Parish Council also has a scheme of delegation in place in which the Clerk is able to make a decision in consultation with the Chairman and members.
Members of the public are welcome to observe. There is a fifteen minute period set aside for public participation before the formal agenda.
All Councillors are able to attend meetings; however, the following Councillors have special responsibility.
